Micro-Lok Testimonial-

I would like to take this opportunity to provide a testimonial about the Micro-Lok Implants manufactured by Bio-Lok International Inc.

I have used Micro-Lok Implants for about six years and have placed approximately 800 Micro-Lok Implants which have been restored by numerous general practitioners. I have been placing implants for eleven years and have used many other systems
(Branemark, 3I, Steri-Oss, Screw-Vent, Core-Vent, and Calcitek).

I can state unequivocally that I find the Micro-Lok Implant System to be the most precise, well-engineered and user-friendly system that I have used. All of my restorative colleagues find this system to be easy for them to restore and also find that the components fit together precisely. Most of my colleagues have never used a torque wrench to secure abutment screws because the fit of the components, design of the abutment screw and dual journal of the abutment screw allow for a tight and secure fit with hand tightening. The prosthetic aspect of this system requires only a few tools yet the selection of possible abutments is as complete as any system. Impression taking is very easy for my colleagues and the common prosthetic head (platform) allows them to use the same impression transfer coping for 19 different implants that I can place. It is for these reasons and more that my colleagues have greatly increased their referral of implant patients to me. I also have been getting many referrals from new practitioners because the implant system is simple for them but precise and predictable. Other systems were confusing for the restorative dentists and they had problems in selecting components and having the appropriate prosthetic tools. Use of the Micro-Lok system has eliminated all of those problems and concerns.

I have not had one fracture of an implant or abutment screw and the incidence of abutment screw loosening is very minimal. Surgically, I like the four-fluted drills and have found the surgical instrumentation complete. Overall I think this implant system has been a major reason why the implant portion of my periodontal practice has grown significantly. All of colleagues would be unhappy if I changed to another system. This system is so good, it makes my general dentist colleagues want to be involved in implant dentistry. This is a great implant system and the company has been very responsive to my needs and suggestions.
